It is no time for the Apple watch

There are a few things that Apple got wrong with the watch.

Trying to sell it as a jewellery item

A jewel is a time piece not a gadget that after 5 or 6 years at much wont be getting updates. The battery will die and you will be depending on Apples battery stock and replacement charges. So Apple please, forget the gold and yellow gold and luxury bands and accessories and focus on functionality and usefulness.

It is not very useful

There is no need for it. It doesn't solve any everyday problem. If Apple wants mass adoption of its watch, it needs to provide a unique advantage.

It is overpriced

Even the non luxury models, the sporty ones are too expensive for a product that should appeal to a big part of the population, the consumer market Apple is after. With those price tags and the economy of several countries recovering from the recession, it is prohibitive for most of the people. It is no time for the Apple watch.
